- “Dead man on trial in Russia” – 2013
In Russia, a dead lawyer who accused Russian officials of a 230-million dollar tax fraud is set to go on trial. In 2008, Sergei Magnitsky reported the fraud to police, but Magnitsky was himself arrested and placed in jail, where he died a year later. I spoke to Bill Browder, Magnitsky’s former employer, who is also on trial.
